Zac began his career in emergency services as an Emergency Medical Technician working for American Medical Response in San Mateo County. He has served in many different public safety capacities since then, including Dispatcher, EMT Supervisor, CPR Instructor and EMT Instructor. Zac combines a background in public safety with a strong background in emergency planning theory. Prior to founding The Alexia Group, he was the Program Manager for Emergency Response Planning at Annuvia, a national safety consulting firm and training provider. He is also the former Chair of the City of Berkeley Disaster and Fire Safety Commission.
